There are many things I love in this world, but I can tell you that blogging is not one of them. It takes up my time and a bit of effort to post something on the blog when I could spend that time writing my screenplay or watch some movie and actually rest after a hard day at work. I have a job, you know, and kids. I’ve actually had a few attempts at blogging in the past, but for the same reason, it always failed. However, I started to keep a private journal since 2009 and the experience has been nothing but a pleasure. It’s kind of amusing and sometimes entertaining to look back and see what I was interested in and got excited for at the time, and believe it or not, you realize you grew up and actually learned something on the way. I bet, blogging, especially the one that you decide to share with the world, is quite different than your private journal because, well, you share it with the whole world and so you tend to get extra careful of what you say and be a bit overprotective of what you share. But as everyone should know, it’s much more fun sharing when you find something you like, so here’s, once again, another crack at it.

I don’t know what exactly this blog will be shaped to be later honestly, other than it’ll always be a collection of films I like and love to talk about. I also don’t plan to use this blog as a means of sharing personal details or ideas I come across, but perhaps sharing a couple every now and then wouldn’t hurt. Oh who am I? As some of you might have already guessed, I’m a big film lover. Other than that, I’m just an ordinary guy with an extraordinary mind and a big dream. You can laugh. :)

I currently cut commercials, corporate videos and documentaries at a post house, and ultimately want a career as a feature film editor in Hollywood. I’ve also written, directed and edited award winning shorts in the past and for the past 2-3 years, I’ve struggled to finish my first feature screenplay, but never stopped trying. I find screenwriting the hardest part of filmmaking but most fun and gratifying experience you can have as a storyteller. I’m thankful that I get to do what I love the most and also for all of you to share with. Thanks for visiting my blog and I hope you enjoy!
